We all know that keeping our students engaged before the Easter break can be a real challenge and I know you want meaningful math activities that are fun, educational, and easy to set up – without spending hours prepping (because that end of term exhaustion is real!!!).
So I’ve put together a few extra no-prep Easter math ideas that will keep your students learning, engaged, and on-task right up until the last day of Term 1.
Here are some quick and easy Easter-themed activities that require little to no prep but still reinforce key math skills.
Extra Quick & Easy No-Prep Easter Math Activities:
Easter-Themed Dice & Spinner Games – Roll a dice or spin a number wheel, then find and colour matching numbers on a ten frame.
QR Code Math Activities – If your students have access to tablets, use QR codes for self-directed number recognition or place value challenges.
Read-Aloud and Math Connection – Pair an Easter storybook with a math discussion (eg: counting Easter eggs, discussing patterns in illustrations, or solving simple word problems related to the story).
Easter Number Puzzles – Print number puzzles (eg: basic addition or simple subtraction) and have students match problems to solutions for a self-correcting math activity.
