We all know that keeping our students engaged before the Easter break can be a real challenge and I know you want meaningful math activities that are fun, educational, and easy to set up – without spending hours prepping (because that end of term exhaustion is real!!!).
Extra Quick & Easy No-Prep Easter Math Activities:
Easter-Themed Dice and Spinner Games-Players roll a dice/turn a number wheel, then find the corresponding numbers on a ten frame and colour them.
QR Code Math Activities– Given that your students have access to tablets, use QR codes to provide them with some self-directed number recognition activities or place value activities.
Rooster Math Connection – Put a story about the rooster and a math problem (eg: number rooster how many) on the same bookmark.
Easter Number Puzzles – Include number puzzles (eg: simple addition or basic subtraction) and see students match the problem to the solution in a self-correcting Easter math problem.
